Calpeda electric pumps

Italian industrial excellence: Cast iron, steel, and bronze pumps for every application

Welcome to the section dedicated to Calpeda , a historic Italian brand that represents tradition and quality in the electric pump sector. With production entirely made in Italy (Montorso Vicentino), Calpeda stands out for its extensive use of noble materials such as bronze and high-quality cast iron , offering products designed to last for decades.

Most requested series:

  • NGX / NGM Series (Self-priming): The famous Jet pumps for garden and home pressurization.
  • MXH Series (Multistage Stainless Steel): Silent horizontal pumps for pressure groups.
  • GXR / GQV Series (Submersible): Robust and repairable drainage and sewerage pumps.
  • Series B- (Bronze): A unique range of pumps made entirely of bronze for sea water and swimming pools.

Why choose Calpeda? The difference is in the material.

While many manufacturers are moving towards plastic, Calpeda remains committed to mechanical strength. Choosing Calpeda means investing in a repairable and solid machine.

Main Series Guide

  • Calpeda NGX (The New Generation Jet):
It replaces the old cast iron NGM models. It has a stainless steel body and a patented internal diffuser that makes it quicker to prime and quieter than its competitors.
  • Calpeda MXH (The Silent Autoclave):
Monobloc multistage pump in AISI 304 stainless steel. Thanks to the thickness of the steel used, it is extremely quiet and robust. Ideal for villas and condominiums.
  • Calpeda GQ (Drainage and Sewerage):
From the small GXR for emptying cellars to the powerful GQV with Vortex impeller for sewage treatment. Triple-impregnated, dry-wound motors for moisture resistance.

🥉 Bronze Specialists (Serie B)

Calpeda is the world leader in bronze pumps.
If you see an abbreviation that begins with "B-" (e.g. B-NGM, B-MXH), it means that the pump is made entirely of bronze .
These pumps are mandatory for:

  • Sea water.
  • Salt water pools.
  • Industry with aggressive liquids.

Stainless steel would corrode in these cases, bronze would not.
