The Lowara DIWA series represents the professional evolution of the classic drainage pump. Built entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel , it is designed for heavy-duty applications where standard hobby pumps would fail.

Unlike the DOC series, the DIWA is designed for:

• Abrasive Water: Thanks to the polyurethane (elastomer) coated skimming plate, it resists the grinding action of sand and soil present in construction excavations or dirty drains much better.
• High Head: The DIWA 11 and 15 models offer considerable thrust (up to 20 metres), allowing you to pump water from very deep garages or to supply irrigation systems.
• Total Reliability: Mechanical seal in oil bath (DriveLub system) to protect the engine from infiltrations.

Comparison: When to choose DIWA instead of DOC or DOMO?

DIWA occupies a specific position. Here's when it's the only choice:

• DIWA vs. DOC: Choose the DIWA if you're working on construction sites, in muddy excavations , or if the water contains sand. The DOC is excellent for clean water, but sand would wear out the internal plastic parts. Furthermore, the DIWA is more powerful (it pushes higher).
• DIWA vs. DOMO: Choose the DIWA if you need pressure and the water only contains small debris (max. 8 mm). If you need to pump sewage containing large or stringy debris , you must use the Lowara DOMO (50 mm passage). The DIWA would clog.
