Lime scale and corrosion are crucial problems affecting plumbing systems. The current legislation on energy saving requires measures to be taken against these problems which significantly reduce the efficiency and useful life of boilers and systems, causing energy waste. Not only. The recent directive (EU) 2020/2184 (new water directive) recognizes that the release of lead into water from obsolete components in older household systems continues to be a problem for many buildings.

The proportional dosage of substances with an anti-corrosive and anti-scaling effect is an effective and safe alternative to prevent limescale deposits (responsible for energy waste) and corrosion (cause of metal release in drinking water), protecting the systems in sustainable and economic way.

Both the Decree of the Ministry of Economic Development of 26 June 2015 (Minimum Requirements Decree) and the UNI 8065 standard recognize the importance of chemical conditioning for achieving satisfactory energy performance in buildings and make its application mandatory.

Polyphosphates represent a safe and sustainable alternative to protect sanitary systems. Through a mechanism known as the “threshold effect”, polyphosphates, if present in the water in concentrations of a few mg / l, interfere with the phenomena of growth and accretion of encrustations. At the same time, polyphosphates create a protective film on metal surfaces that hinders the migration of metals (such as lead) into the water.

The products of the AcquaSIL® line are liquid solutions of polyphosphates specifically formulated to achieve an effective “threshold effect” even at very low concentrations (less than 3.5 mg / l as P2O5). Dosing with Acqua Brevetti equipment (MiniDOS, MiniDUE, BravaDOS, add or remove names) optimizes consumption, avoiding waste and maximizing yield. The stabilizing action and film-forming capacity of AcquaSIL® are effective with water with hardness between 5 ° f and 35 ° f and with instant water temperatures up to 80 ° C and storage temperatures up to 60 ° C.

The products of the AcquaSIL® line meet the strict purity requirements established by the UNI EN 1212 standard relating to the requirements of the products used for the treatment of water intended for human consumption.

The products of the AcquaSIL® line are not classified as dangerous for health and for the environment according to the regulations in force (Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 and subsequent amendments).
