Electronic pressure regulators
Pedrollo electronic regulators (commonly called Presscontrol ) are intelligent devices that transform a simple electric pump into an automatic pressure tank. Installed on the pump's delivery line, they automatically turn the pump on and off when the tap is opened or closed, replacing traditional systems with expansion tanks and mechanical pressure switches.

Problem: There are several models (Easypress, Easypro, Easysmall). Choosing the wrong one can mean low pressure or a pump that won't start.
Solution: Here are the substantial differences:
This is the most common model. It has a fixed restart pressure (usually 1.5 bar).
👉 Choose it if you have a standard system with normal height differences. Available in the Easypress-1 version (for small pumps) and Easypress-2 (for pumps up to 2 HP).
It's the "All-in-One" model. It has two huge advantages:
✅ Adjustable Pressure: You can decide at what pressure the pump starts (from 1 to 5 bar) using a button.
✅ Integrated Vessel: Includes a 3-liter mini-lung that absorbs water hammer and small leaks.
👉 Choose it if you want maximum comfort and flexibility.
For the pressure control to work, the restart pressure must be higher than the water column above it.
Rule of thumb:
🔹 1.5 bar model -> For taps up to 11-12 metres above the pump.
🔹 2.2 bar model -> For taps up to 18-19 metres high.
If you have a faucet on the 4th floor and you install the 1.5 bar model, the water won't reach!
No, be careful! The Easypress is an on/off switch: when it opens, the pump pushes at 100% of its force. If the pump is too powerful, you'll get too much pressure. If you're looking for a device that maintains constant and adjustable pressure, you should purchase an inverter (like the Pedrollo Vario).
🟢 Power/Status: The pump is powered.
🟡 Pump On: The pump is running.
🔴 Failure: Alarm. Usually indicates "Dry Running" (the well has run out of water). The system shuts down to protect the motor. Once the water returns, you can press "Restart" or wait for it to automatically restart.
Technically, no, the Easypress works without one. However, we always recommend installing a small "joint" container (1 or 2 liters) after the Easypress. This helps compensate for drips from leaky faucets, preventing the pump from cycling every 10 seconds, which ultimately damages the circuit board.
