Yes and general lubrication
Ensure maximum durability and proper operation of your machinery. In this section, you'll find high-performance lubricants and industrial greases needed for maintaining bearings, gears, chains, and mechanisms subject to high friction.
Arexons sb731 multifunction lubricant 400 ml cod. 4178
Grease is a thickened lubricant that offers excellent resistance to pressure and water.
Ideal for: Bearings, pins, ball joints and applications requiring "stable" lubrication that does not leak (e.g. in the agricultural or construction sectors).
Oil is preferable for its greater fluidity and penetrating ability.
Ideal for: Chains (requiring penetration into the joint), closed gears, pneumatic mechanisms and hydraulic systems.
This isn't a standard lubricant. Copper (or molybdenum) pastes serve as anti-seize agents for threads and bolts subjected to extremely high temperatures (e.g., car exhausts, turbines, spark plugs). They prevent the metal from "welding" under heat and facilitate future disassembly.
A good lubricant is useless if it's dirty.
1. Can I use lithium grease on my motorcycle chain?
Not recommended. Lithium grease is excellent for bearings but is too thick and "slow" for chains. It also tends to collect dust and external dirt, creating an "abrasive paste." For fast chains, use specific spray oils (Technik or Catena Moto).
2. What is the difference between lithium grease and Vaseline grease?
Lithium grease is the universal standard; it's heat and water resistant and has a high pressure capacity. Technical Vaseline is more gentle and doesn't have much heat resistance, but it's ideal for small seals, electrical connectors (because it's non-corrosive), and as a protective coating.
3. Is compressor oil always the same?
No, you must use a specific oil for compressors. Piston compressors use a mineral oil (e.g., ISO VG 100) for the mechanical parts. Screw compressors use special synthetic oils. NEVER use car engine oils, which do not have the correct viscosity.
