With its high energy efficiency, the product complies with EuP 2015 regulations ensuring substantial electricity savings, and with its intuitive, easy-to-use interface and maintenance-free design, MAGNA1 is the ideal circulator for basic performance needs in applications where basic system control and monitoring are desired.
With this range of circulators, every operation, from setup to basic control and monitoring, is simplified.
The pump is maintenance free due to the tubular rotor type design. MAGNA1 offers the possibility to monitor the pump via the fault relay output.
The digital start/stop input remotely controls the pump.
The pump communicates wirelessly with the Grundfos GO Remote app.
MAGNA1 can function as a master pump in both heating and cooling applications, including:
- Mixing loop
- Heating surfaces
- Surfaces for air conditioning
- Geothermal heat pump systems
- Smaller refrigeration applications.
MAGNA1 is a single-phase pump and characterized by having the controller and operating panel integrated into the control box.
The pump body is available in both cast iron and stainless steel. The composite rotor casing is reinforced with carbon fiber, the bearing plate and rotor liner are made of stainless steel, and the stator housing is made of aluminum. The power electronics are air-cooled.
The pump incorporates a 4-pole permanent magnet synchronous motor (PM motor).
This type of motor is characterized by higher efficiency than a conventional asynchronous squirrel cage motor.
The speed of the pump is controlled by an integrated frequency converter.
