To seal threaded joints and fittings in general on pipes, containers containing gas, liquefied gases, liquids. Suitable for diameters up to 3"". Highly thixotropic product. It doesn't drip. Waste-free application. It guarantees perfect tightness of liquids and gases. Protects threads from corrosion. It increases the structural solidity of the joint and prevents any loosening caused by vibrations. It does not create obstructions in micropassages and does not contaminate hydraulic or pneumatic circuits. Disassembly with normal tools. Tested according to DIN 54454 standards. Operating temperature: from -55°C to +150°C. Maximum diametric clearance: 0.5 mm. Storage duration at room temperature: 18 months minimum.

DESCRIPTION

Specific product for sealing threaded joints and fittings in general, pipes and containers containing gas, LPG, compressed air, oil and fuel, industrial fluids, CFCs, drinking water and various chemical substances.

Suitable for diameters up to 2". It resists shock and vibration and maintains its sealing properties in the temperature range from -55°C to +150°C with peaks for short periods up to 230°C (24h at +230°C on 1 ½” galvanized fittings) .

The high thixotropy prevents the treated surfaces from dripping and allows application without waste.

It guarantees a perfect seal.

Protects threads against corrosion and prevents loosening caused by vibration.

It does not create obstructions in the micro passages and does not contaminate the hydraulic or pneumatic circuits.

Disassembly is possible with normal tools.

For faster sealing we recommend using System AP 724 Rapid Primer.

USE

Recommended for sealing threaded joints and fittings in general, pipes and containers containing gas, LPG, compressed air, oil and fuel, industrial fluids, CFCs, drinking water and various chemical substances.

CLASSIFICATION

Product tested according to DIN 54454 standards.

BS6920:2000 approved by WRAS for use with cold and hot water (85°C), registration no.: 1811510.

Approved as a sealant for gas tight fittings according to EN751-1 by DIN-DVGW n°NG-5146AU0039 from -20°C to +150°C up to 2” diameter.

Tested for oxygen gas according to BAM up to 10 bar at 60°C 1432/95 4/755

USE

Surfaces must be clean and dry. We recommend using System MC217.

Apply the product on the bolt in the coupling area with the nut.

For blind holes, apply the product to the bottom of the hole. Assemble and tighten as required.

Wait for the expected polymerization times before moving the coupling.

For application temperatures below +15°C or in case of polymerization speed

slow, you can use System AP724 Rapid Primer.

WARNINGS

This product is not normally recommended for use with plastic materials, where stress cracking is possible.
