DESCRIPTION

Ferox is a rust converter based on synthetic resins dispersed in water, it reacts chemically with rust transforming it into a stable black complex resistant to attack by atmospheric agents and impervious to humidity.

Suitable for applications even in closed and poorly ventilated environments, it can be overpainted with all types of both water-based and solvent-based paints.

It reacts with rust and blocks its destructive processes.

USE

Ideal for the treatment of rusty ferrous surfaces, equally effective even on new surfaces

USE

Preparation of the support:

Surfaces that have never been painted – brush off any crumbly or poorly anchored rust, then remove any remaining dust with a cloth soaked in water.

Already painted surfaces – brush off any peeling paint and crumbly rust, removing any remaining dust with a cloth moistened with water.

Application: ready to use product. If applied with a spray gun, dilute with water max 15 ÷ 18%.

Tips: Shake the product well before use. Pour the required amount of product into a plastic container and do not pour any remaining product into the original container.

Can be overpainted after 12 hours. At a temperature of at least 20°C and humidity not exceeding 60%, it is possible to overcoat after just 15 minutes.

After use, wash the tools immediately with water.

Surfaces treated with Ferox must be overpainted with a good finishing paint within 24/36 hours, if sheltered from bad weather you can wait up to 2 ÷ 3 weeks

WARNINGS

Arexons guarantees compatibility between the paints it produces. Before carrying out the work, make sure they are compatible with paints/primers from other manufacturers.

Ferox cannot be used on concrete reinforcement.

The film on non-ferrous surface is milky.

Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C.

The application can also be carried out on a damp support but the film must be protected from water and rain.

STORAGE

In intact packaging and stored at room temperature for at least 3 years.

Warning: fear frost, do not expose to temperatures below +5°C.
