DESCRIPTION

The EGR valve present in diesel engines has the task of recycling a quantity of exhaust gases into the cylinder.

A part of the fresh air is therefore replaced by the exhausted gases in order to reduce the temperature during the combustion phase with a consequent reduction in nitrogen oxides.

Therefore, by recycling the exhaust gases, it is subject to contamination and malfunction.

The spray EGR valve cleaner has been specifically designed for cleaning the "EGR group".

It is also able to clean intake ducts and valves.

USE

Suitable for all diesel engines with any fuel system, it cleans the ducts, intake valves and EGR unit.

USE

With the engine hot, identify the closest reachable point to the EGR valve, in order to avoid dispersion of solvent and dangerous accumulations along the intake circuit.

Alternatively, dispense the product directly into the previously removed air filter box.

Keeping the engine running at around 2000/2500 rpm, spray the cleaner at small, regular intervals until the canister runs out.

At the end of the application, restore all connections and reposition a new air filter.

Keep the engine at idle for a few minutes and then accelerate periodically, bringing the rpm level to around 2/3000.

For another 5/10 minutes.

WARNINGS

Due to temporary enrichments of the air/fuel mixture, unwanted increases in engine power and noise may occur during treatment.

At the sign of an increase in noise or an increase in rpm, immediately stop dispensing the product and wait for optimal conditions to return.

Follow the instructions for use carefully, the treatment could cause engine acceleration that is not always controllable.

STORAGE

Shelf life of the product after packaging in a sealed package and stored at room temperature: minimum 36 months.
