The by-pass valve is used in systems that can work with significant variations in flow rate, for example in those that make extensive use of thermostatic valves or two-way motorized valves.
It ensures a flow recirculation proportional to the number of valves that close, limiting the maximum value of the differential pressure generated by the pump.
