GEL Dosaphos 250 1/2 cod. 105.030.80

Dosaphos are anti-limescale and anti-corrosion dispensers for boilers, washing machines and dishwashers.

The functioning is based on the automatic and proportional dosage of Gelphos, a product with a chelating and sequestering action, capable of:

• prevent the deposit of calcium and magnesium carbonate (no encrustations)
• form a protective film inside the pipes (no corrosion).

The adjustable connection flange between the venturi and the dosing body allows the Dosaphos to be installed on horizontal and vertical pipes.

Furthermore, the FAST connections with rotating ring nut and vertical TEMPLATE facilitate installation in the reduced spaces between the wall and the boiler.

The Acquastop device avoids creating the system exclusion by-pass and allows you to replace the Gelphos Rapid anti-limescale refill without shutting off the water upstream.

Dosaphos are made of nickel-plated brass and/or plastic materials for potable use. .

The package includes two refills of Gelphos Rapid.

The equipment shown above is made with top quality materials, certified for food use (DM174/2004).

The water used in plumbing systems contains a certain quantity of dissolved calcium and magnesium salts which make it hard.

By heating the water, the hardness gives rise to a chemical reaction with the formation of calcium and magnesium carbonate (limestone) and carbon dioxide.

Calcium carbonate precipitates giving rise to encrustations on systems and exchangers while carbon dioxide generates corrosive effects inside the system.

It is therefore necessary to treat the water by installing anti-limescale and anti-corrosion equipment such as proportional dosers.

The dosage of polyphosphate-based products, in proportion to the flow of water (< 5 ppm), does not alter the drinking water characteristics, keeps the elements soluble which would otherwise precipitate forming encrustations and protects against corrosion phenomena.

The very simple installation can be carried out upstream of the water system, boilers or boilers and upstream of washing machines and dishwashers.

INSTALLATION

The Venturi fitting must be mounted so that the direction of the arrow coincides with the water flow.

If the water pressure is higher than 10 bar, a pressure reducer must be installed upstream of the dispenser.

Check that, during installation, the pipes are free from machining chips or other foreign bodies.

Gelphos Rapid refills must be stored in a dry place away from heat sources.

Before inserting a new refill of Gelphos Rapid, remove the sealing cap of the same at least 1 or 2 days before use.
