Arexons Seal 5661 White (Code 0076) is a neutral adhesive sealant designed to blend seamlessly into light-colored surfaces, providing an impenetrable barrier against water and time.

Compared to home health silicones, Seal 5661 offers "Automotive & Marine" performance:
- Superior UV Protection: Recreational vehicles are constantly exposed to the sun. This silicone is formulated to never bake, crack, or turn pale yellow, maintaining a resilient seal for years.
- Adhesion to Fiberglass and Aluminum: Adheres tenaciously to typical camper and boat materials (gelcoat, plastics, painted metals), preventing the dreaded infiltrations from portholes and vents.

Instructions for use
- Clean the surface thoroughly (remove old silicone and degrease with alcohol or silicone remover).
- Apply masking tape to the edges of the area to be sealed for a clean line.
- Spread the product evenly.
- Smooth the bead with a finger dipped in soapy water or with the appropriate spatula immediately after application.
- Remove the masking tape immediately and let it dry (24 hours for complete hardening).
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it paintable?
No. Like all pure silicones, the paint doesn't stick to its surface. Being white, it's designed to be left exposed on white surfaces without the need for painting.
Can I use it to glue solar panels to the roof of my camper?
For solar panels (which must withstand highway winds), we recommend a specific polyurethane or hybrid MS polymer structural adhesive. This silicone is excellent for perimeter sealing against water, but for heavy-duty structural sealing, more rigid products are better.
Is it suitable for a home bathtub?
Yes, it's excellent. Being a neutral professional product, it's often more durable and water-resistant than cheap supermarket acetic silicones.
What is the difference with the Seal 5552 Black?
Just the color. The chemistry (Neutral Alkoxy) and performance (adhesive/sealant) are identical. Choose white for RVs/boats and black for car windows/tire seals.
