The new ALPHA SOLAR is designed to be integrated into all types of solar thermal systems with variable (corresponding flow) or constant flow.
High efficiency ECM pumps (electronically commutated motor), such as ALPHA SOLAR, do not have to be regulated in speed by a special external regulator that varies or pulses the supply voltage.
The speed can be controlled by a low voltage PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal from a solar controller to optimize the solar energy supply and system temperature.
As a result, the energy consumption of the pump will be reduced considerably.
If no PWM signal is available, ALPHA SOLAR can be set to a constant speed, and only be turned on and off by the controller.
