Grundfos UPA 15-90 is a domestic booster designed to increase the pressure of drinking water supplied from an external source in residential homes. UPA booster pumps increase the pressure of domestic water to make the required pressure available at showers, taps and other withdrawal points.

This pump has a 3/4 inch inlet and outlet port. The pressure rating of the pump corresponds to PN 10 and a port-to-port length of 160 mm. The UPA 15-90 offers the comfort of constant water pressure with automatic start and stop. This is controlled by the integrated flow switch which ensures optimal start/stop of the booster pump based on demand. The design is robust and made with anti-corrosion materials and cast iron pump body with cataphoresis coating to ensure long life. The pump is of the box rotor type where the pump and motor form an integral unit without a shaft seal. This pump must always be installed with a horizontal drive shaft. This booster has a 2-pole asynchronous squirrel cage motor with built-in impedance protection and short circuit proof. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid. These construction features guarantee maintenance-free operation. The pump has the following CE, WEEE-UPA and MORO approvals.
