Grundfos JP 4-47 PT-H consists of a Grundfos JP pump, a pressure switch, a pressure gauge and a 20-litre Grundfos GT-H horizontal diaphragm tank. The booster set features a dual outlet selection for easy installation. and a pressure tank to reduce water hammer in the pipes.

JP 4-47 PT-H offers the comfort of constant water pressure with automatic start and stop. This is controlled by the combined pressure switch and pressure tank which ensures optimum start/stop of the booster set according to demand. . The pressure tank limits the number of start/stop routines, as the water stored in the tank can be used without starting the pump in case of low water consumption or leakage losses. The cut-in pressure is set to 2, 2 bars.

The design is robust and constructed from corrosion-resistant materials to ensure long life. This booster set ensures optimum self-priming properties, with a suction height of up to 8 metres. The self-priming pump also ensures stable operation as it is in capable of lifting liquid from below the inlet level and can handle a mixture of air and liquid until the pump reaches a fully primed pumping condition.

The JP self-priming pump has a built-in thermal protection, which immediately stops the pump in the event of overheating. The motor is air-cooled and equipped with oversized ball bearings, sealed and greased for life to ensure quiet operation and minimal service.
