JP PM is a booster set consisting of a pressure manager and a self-priming, single-stage centrifugal pump. JP PM is designed for various domestic and gardening applications and is equipped with dry-running protection.

The Grundfos JP 3-42 PM1 booster consists of a Grundfos JP pump and a pressure manager. The JP 3-42 PM1 offers the comfort of constant water pressure with automatic start and stop matched to consumption by the intelligent pressure manager. The pressure switch starts the pump at 1.5 bar and the pump continues to run as long as there is flow.
The design is robust and constructed from corrosion resistant materials to ensure long life. This booster set provides optimum self-priming properties, with a suction lift of up to 8 metres. The self-priming pump also ensures stable operation as it is able to lift liquid from below the inlet level and can handle a mixture of air and liquid until the pump reaches a fully primed pumping condition.
JP 3-42 PM1 incorporates dry-running protection that automatically stops the pump in the event of dry running. This means less risk of damage to the pump and lower maintenance costs. The anti-cycling function stops the pump in time in the event of a small leak in the system or if a tap has not been closed completely. When a cycle occurs, the pump stops and an alarm is indicated. A non-return valve for backflow prevention is already integrated
The JP self-priming pump has a built-in thermal protection, which immediately stops the pump in the event of overheating. The motor is air-cooled and equipped with oversized ball bearings, sealed and greased for life to ensure quiet operation and minimal service.
