Grundfos UPA 15-120 is a domestic booster designed to increase the pressure of drinking water supplied from an external source in residential homes. UPA booster pumps increase the pressure of domestic water to make the required pressure available in showers, taps and other withdrawal points.

This pump has a 1 inch inlet and outlet port. The pressure rating of the pump corresponds to PN 10 and a port-to-port length of 200 mm. The UPA 15-120 offers the comfort of constant water pressure with automatic start and stop. This is controlled by the integrated flow switch which ensures optimal start/stop of the booster pump based on demand. The design is robust and constructed with anti-corrosion materials and cast iron pump housing with cataphoresis coating to ensure long life. The pump is a type of fixed rotor pump in which the pump and motor form an integral unit without a mechanical seal. This pump must always be installed with a horizontal drive shaft. This booster has a 2-pole squirrel cage asynchronous motor with thermal protection. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid. These construction features guarantee maintenance-free operation.
