Do I need to install an external expansion vessel?

In theory, no, because DTron 2 already has a built-in 0.5-liter tank. However, in very large systems with many users, adding a small 2-5-liter external tank can only benefit the system.

Can I use this in a 4 inch well?

No. The DTron 2 series has a diameter of approximately 7 inches (185 mm). It is designed for wide wells, tanks, or cisterns. For narrow wells, you should look at the DAB S4 series.

What is different compared to the Divertron?

The DTron 2 is more modern: it has an integrated expansion tank (which the Divertron does not have), it is quieter and is built so that each part is individually repairable.
