DAB Divertek: Automatic Submersible Pump for Tanks

DAB Divertek: The Intelligent and Automatic Submersible Pump

Integrated electronics for "Plug & Play" pressurization

The DAB Divertek is a single- or multi-impeller submersible pump designed for use in cisterns, holding tanks, and open wells. Its main feature is its integrated electronics : the pump starts automatically when water is required and stops when the taps are closed, eliminating the need for external pressure controls or bulky expansion vessels.

  • Automatic Start & Stop: Pressure and flow sensor integrated into the pump body.
  • Total Safety: Dry running protection (automatically switches off if it runs out of water).
  • Non-Return Valve Included: Already mounted inside to prevent water backflow.
  • Quick Installation: No electrical panels or complicated configurations required.

Forget complex autoclave systems

In the past, to have an automatic system from a tank, you had to purchase a pump, a pressure controller, fittings, and cables. With DAB Divertek, you get everything in a single, durable, cylindrical technopolymer body. It's the ideal solution for anyone who wants to automate garden irrigation or power domestic utilities (toilets, washing machines) using rainwater harvesting.

The pump is extremely quiet because it works immersed in the liquid, making it perfect for installations near homes where the noise of a surface pump would be annoying.

🌟 Why choose Divertek?

Unlike traditional submersible pumps, the Divertek has on-board intelligence that protects your investment:

  • Anti-seize: After every 24 hours of inactivity, the pump performs a brief automatic start-up to prevent mechanical parts from seizing.
  • Anti-Debris Filter: The base of the pump is a stainless steel grid that prevents the suction of leaves or coarse impurities present at the bottom of the tank.
  • Integrated Handle: Easy to lower and lift thanks to the reinforced eyelet.

Installation and Tips

For optimal operation, we recommend installing the Divertek about 20-30 cm from the bottom of the tank (perhaps resting it on a brick) to prevent it from sucking up finer sediment. Although it's automatic, adding a small 2-liter expansion tank to the system is recommended to dampen minor water hammer and protect your home's plumbing.

Frequently Asked Questions about DAB Divertek

Do you need an external pressure control?

No, the electronics that manage start and stop are already integrated into the pump. Simply connect the delivery hose and plug it in.

What happens if the tank runs empty?

The Divertek detects low water levels and immediately stops operation to prevent overheating. It will then automatically restart at predetermined intervals as soon as the water level rises again.

Can I use this for a 4" artesian well?

No, the Divertek has a diameter of approximately 15 cm. It is designed for large wells (at least 6 inches), tanks, or cisterns. For narrow 4" wells, the DAB S4 series is required.
