No. Like all surface pumps, the physical suction limit is 8 meters . If the water is deeper, you need a submersible pump or a DP series (with external ejector).

What does "3 impellers" or "4 impellers" mean?

Indicates the number of internal discs (impellers) that push the water. The more impellers (e.g., Multi Inox 4 or 5), the greater the pressure the pump can generate for the same motor speed.

Do I need to fill it with water before turning it on?

Absolutely! Although it's self-priming, the pump must never run dry. Before using it for the first time, unscrew the top cap and completely fill the pump body with water.
