DAB Feka 300 - 600: The Economical Solution for Waste Water

The DAB Feka series (models 300 and 600) is the most popular line of submersible pumps for domestic use. Designed to lift wastewater containing suspended solids (up to 25 mm), they are perfect for emptying decanted septic tanks, dirty rainwater collection pits, or flooded basements.

Do you need to empty your sewage tank?

When the wastewater isn't clear (contains soil, food debris, or small solids), standard drainage pumps immediately stop. The DAB Feka is built with a recessed impeller that allows the passage of objects up to 2.5 centimeters in diameter.

It is the ideal pump to "keep at home" for emergencies or for fixed installation in small domestic pump wells (e.g. washing machine/shower drain in the basement).

⚖️ Feka 300 or Feka 600? Here's how to choose.

Both handle the same solids (25mm). The difference is the thrust power:

  • Choose DAB FEKA 300 if:
    You need to empty a flooded room or a shallow well (up to 3-4 meters above sea level). It's more economical and uses less power (350W).
  • Choose DAB FEKA 600 if:
    You need to pump water out of a deep underground garage or send it far into the sewer. It has more power (maximum head 9 meters) and empties much faster (up to 15,000 liters/hour).
⚠️ WARNING: What this pump CANNOT do

This is NOT a grinder pump .
• Suitable for: Dirty water, soil, small organic residues.
• NOT suitable for: Rags, wet wipes, sanitary napkins, or whole toilet paper. For these materials, use the DAB FEKA VS (Vortex) or GRINDER series.

Easy Installation

The pump outlet is horizontal with a 1" 1/4 (one and a quarter inch) thread. You can connect a curved hose fitting (recommended) to it to attach a flexible hose, or screw a rigid PVC pipe directly onto it.

Frequently Asked Questions about the DAB Feka 300/600

Can I use a garden hose to water?

Absolutely NOT. A standard garden hose (15mm) is too narrow and would choke the pump, potentially burning it out. You must use a spiral hose with an internal diameter of at least 30mm or 32mm .

What is the minimum level to aspirate?

The Feka leaves about 5 cm of water at the bottom (it doesn't run dry like the Nova Up). The automatic float switches it off when about 10-15 cm of water remains to prevent it from running dry.

What does the acronym "M-NA" mean?

This stands for "Single-Phase Non-Automatic." This version does NOT have a float . You plug it in and it starts, you unplug it and it stops. It's useful for emptying very narrow wells where the float wouldn't move, but it must be monitored closely.
