Windshield Ice Remover Spray - Arexons 300 ml
The DAB NOVA range represents the benchmark for submersible electric pumps designed for draining clear or slightly dirty water. Whether you need to empty a flooded cellar, a garage, or manage collection tanks, you'll find the perfect model here among the Classica line, the UP (vertical flow) version, and the MAE electronic variant.
There's often confusion between the various models in the Nova series. Here's a quick guide to help you choose the right pump for your system and avoid installation errors.
The problem: You have a standard (wide) sump or you need to empty a flooded room where space is not an issue.
The solution: The classic NOVA series features a lateral delivery (outlet pipe) and an external float arm. It's the best-selling submersible pump due to its robustness and simplicity. Ideal for fixed or portable applications.
The problem: You have a very narrow cockpit (up to 20 cm) where the classic float would get stuck against the walls.
The solution: The NOVA UP is designed with a vertical delivery and a built-in (or sliding) float that doesn't protrude. This allows it to work in very small spaces where other pumps can't fit. Furthermore, by removing the filter, it can suck water up to 2-3 mm from the bottom ("mop" function).
The problem: You want intelligent water level management without moving mechanical parts.
The solution: The MAE version is the electronic evolution of the UP. It controls start and stop using electronic sensors, ensuring maximum precision and protection.
⚠️ IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTICE:
Before purchasing, always measure the width of your cockpit .
- If your well is less than 40x40cm wide, we highly recommend the NOVA UP series.
- The NOVA Classic series requires lateral clearance for the float arm to move freely. If the float touches the wall, the pump will not shut off, risking burning out the motor.
The main difference is the motor power and the head (ability to push water upwards). The 180 is for small drainages, the 300 is the standard medium, and the 600 is for those who need to push water over greater distances or heights.
The entire Nova series is designed for clear or slightly cloudy water (without filaments or large solids). For black water or sewage, you should switch to the FEKA series.
The pump comes ready to use with a cable and plug. You'll need a hose connector (if using a flexible hose) and, highly recommended, a check valve to prevent water from flowing back when the pump turns off.
