The VS series is the professional choice for residential and commercial systems. Thanks to its robust wet rotor construction, it is quiet and requires little maintenance other than periodic limescale removal (if the water is very hard).

⚠️ WARNING: Do not use heating pumps!

This is the most common mistake: installing a green (cast iron) pump on the domestic water supply. DON'T DO IT.

Domestic water is rich in oxygen and would cause cast iron to rust in a few months, dirtying your bath water. For drinking water, a bronze body (DAB VS or Evosta San) is MANDATORY .

Check the connections: Sanitary pumps often have different diameters.
Check if you need 1/2" (small) or 1" and larger nozzles.

How to choose the right model?

The acronym helps you: VS 8/150 means maximum head of 0.8 meters (very low, for short recirculations) and 150 mm center distance. The most powerful models, like the VS 65/150, reach 6 meters of thrust, ideal for multi-story villas.

Can I use it for drinking water?

Yes, the bronze body is certified for use with drinking water. Just make sure the system is clean.

The pump is blocked by limescale, what do I do?

Sanitary pumps are susceptible to limescale buildup. Often, simply unscrewing the central cap and rotating the motor shaft with a screwdriver is enough to unblock it. If your water is very hard, we recommend installing a polyphosphate dispenser upstream.

Does it consume a lot of electricity?

The VS models are standard pumps. If you're looking for maximum electronic energy savings, we recommend the "Evosta 2 SAN" series, which is the electronic evolution of this range.
