When to choose CM-A (Cast Iron) instead of CM-I (Stainless Steel)?

The choice of material depends solely on water usage. The CM-A version is the smart budget-saving choice when food hygiene is not a concern.

• Choose CM-A (Cast Iron) if: You need to power irrigation systems, industrial machinery, closed heating/air conditioning circuits, or washing systems. Technical water is not affected by contact with cast iron.
• Choose CM-I (Inox) if: You need to pressurize your home tap water (drinking), treat demineralized water or aggressive liquids.

Extended Temperature Range

One of the strengths of the Grundfos CM-A is its ability to handle liquids at extreme temperatures, making it perfect for OEM integration:

• Cold: Up to -20°C (ideal for glycol and refrigeration).
• Hot: Up to +90°C (standard version) for boiler power supply.
