Grundfos UPA pumps are the ideal compact solution for those suffering from low water pressure in apartments. Unlike bulky traditional booster pumps, the UPA is a mini-booster that installs directly into the pipe (in-line) to provide an immediate boost to the water.

Perfect for solving problems like:

• Weak shower: Increase the jet for greater comfort.
• Boiler block: Ensures the minimum pressure required to turn on the instantaneous water heater.

How does the Grundfos UPA work?

Operation is completely automatic thanks to the integrated flow switch .
When you open the tap, the sensor detects the flow of water and instantly turns on the pump, increasing the pressure by approximately 0.5 - 0.7 bar (depending on the UPA 15-90 or UPA 15-120 model).
When you turn off the tap, the pump immediately shuts off. No expansion tank, no pressure switch to adjust.

Differences between UPA 15-90 and UPA 15-120

• UPA 15-90: The standard model. Compact and ideal for serving a single bathroom or a wall-mounted boiler. It consumes very little energy (equivalent to a light bulb).
• UPA 15-120: The more powerful model. It offers greater thrust and is recommended if you need to serve multiple users simultaneously or if the pressure shortage is severe.
