Buying Guide: Which Metylan Do You Need?

The secret to a perfect job is not manual skill, but choosing the right glue for your type of paper:

1. For "Traditional" Wallpaper (Paper Base)

Use Metylan Universal (Purple/Blue Box).
The glue should be applied to the back of the paper, which should be left to soak for a few minutes before hanging. Ideal for light and normal paper.

2. For non-woven or vinyl wallpaper

Use Metylan Direct or Special (Purple/Fuchsia Box).
These modern papers don't expand. The technique is simpler: spread the glue directly on the wall (not on the sheet!) and apply the dry paper. You'll need a specific glue that's stronger and thicker, specifically formulated to prevent splattering.

3. For Edges and Retouching
