ALPHA3: VARIABLE SPEED CIRCULATORS COMPATIBLE WITH THE ALPHA READER

As for the ALPHA2, the energy consumption of GRUNDFOS ALPHA3 is in line with the provisions of the EuP Directive (Commission Regulation (EC) No. 641/2009) in force since 1 January 2013. With its Energy Efficiency Index (EEI ) of 0.15, the EEI of the ALPHA3 is well below the requirements of the Eup directive of 2013 and 2015 and even goes beyond the highest average level of its class.

Grundfos ALPHA3 is a range of circulation pumps with the following functionalities:

• AUTOADAPT function, pre-set in the factory, ideal in most systems.

• Regulation based on the differential pressure which allows variations in pump performance based on the different ones

  plant needs.

• Night power reduction (selectable).

• Manual summer mode.

• Dry running protection.

• High starting torque combined with vibration to remove deposits that could block the pump.

• Display showing the instantaneous power absorption (W) or the instantaneous flow rate in m3 / h.

• Permanent magnet motor.

• Compatible with the ALPHA Reader (see accessories), it provides a reading of the internal data from the pump and allows a balancing

simpler than the heating system.
