The Grundfos JP 3-42 PM START booster set consists of a Grundfos JP pump and a pressure manager. The JP 3-42 PM START offers the convenience of constant water pressure with automatic start and stop based on consumption. The pressure manager starts the pump at 1.5 bar, and the pump continues to run as long as flow is present. The design is robust and uses corrosion-resistant materials to ensure a long life. This booster set guarantees excellent self-priming properties, with a suction lift of up to 8 meters. The self-priming pump also ensures stable operation as it can lift liquids from below the inlet level and can handle a mixture of air and liquid until a fully primed pumping condition is achieved. The JP 3-42 PM START incorporates dry-running protection that automatically stops the pump in the event of dry running. This results in a reduced risk of pump damage and lower maintenance costs. A non-return valve to prevent backflow is already integrated. The JP pump features built-in thermal protection, which immediately shuts down the pump in the event of overheating. The air-cooled motor features oversized, sealed, and lifetime-lubricated ball bearings to ensure quiet operation and minimal maintenance.
