The dirt separator separates the impurities circulating in the closed circuits of the plants, impurities mainly consisting of particles of sand and sludge.
They are collected in a large settling chamber which allows low cleaning frequencies and from which they can be discharged even when the system is functioning.
The versions equipped with a magnet are suitable for the separation of ferrous impurities.
This device is able to effectively remove even the smallest impurity particles with very low pressure drops.
The flanged DIRTCAL® dirt separators are supplied complete with shell insulation, preformed when hot, to guarantee perfect thermal insulation both when used with hot and chilled water.
